Conservation of the Lesser White Towerback

Rangers regularly have to go out in small craft to guide these creatures away from inhabited areas or prevent them from damaging the hanging mangrove structures which make up their habitat. Although they spend most of their time lazily floating across the water surface, they are known to briefly submerge, using the massive growth near its head as a snorkel.
